​Developing and regenerating a sense of taste

Our lab is interested in the development and regeneration of the taste system. Our hope is to better understand how taste bud development and regeneration normally occur. We also investigate how taste is affected by cancer treatment with a goal to develop strategies to mitigate or prevent taste loss in patients.
